bookaslot.in is a booking platform that connects customers with businesses. Refund eligibility for bookings is determined by each individual business's cancellation policy, which is displayed during the booking process and on the booking confirmation email. This document describes how refunds work across the platform.

2. Booking Refunds

Each business sets its own cancellation policy on bookaslot.in. Before cancelling a booking, customers should review the cancellation policy shown on:

  • The booking page at the time of booking
  • The booking confirmation email

3. How to Cancel and Request a Refund

  1. Open your booking confirmation email.
  2. Click the "Cancel booking" link in the email.
  3. Confirm the cancellation on the screen that opens.
  4. If a refund is applicable based on the business's policy, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method.

If you cannot find the cancellation link or it has expired, contact the business directly or write to us at support@bookaslot.in.

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay and typically reflect in your account within:

  • Credit/debit cards: 5–7 business days
  • UPI: 1–3 business days
  • Net banking: 5–7 business days
  • Wallets: 1–3 business days

Timelines are subject to your bank's processing schedule and may vary.

5. Platform Fee

The bookaslot.in platform fee (5% of the booking amount) is non-refundable in all circumstances except in cases of a verified platform error. Refunds to customers are processed on the net amount received after the platform fee and Razorpay gateway charges.

6. No-Show Policy

If a customer does not show up for their appointment without cancelling, the business's no-show policy applies. Typically, no refund is issued for no-shows. However, this is at the discretion of the individual business.

7. Disputes

If you believe a refund was incorrectly denied or there was a processing error, contact us at support@bookaslot.in with your booking ID and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 3 business days.
